..::ICT INNOVATIONS 2022::.. Aims and Scope

The ICT Innovations conference series has established itself as an international forum for presenting scientific results related to innovative fundamental and applied research in ICT. The conference aims to bring together academics as well as industrial practitioners, to share their most recent research, practical solutions and experiences and to discuss the trends, opportunities and challenges in the field of computer science and engineering.

The conference will consist of regular sessions with technical contributions (regular papers) reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as invited talks presented by leading scientists. Different workshops will be held in line with the main conference. The official language of the conference will be English.

..::ICT INNOVATIONS 2022::.. Topics

The focal point for this year’s conference is Reshaping the future towards a new normal.

The COVID-19 pandemic, as a major event in human history, has made an impact in nearly all aspects of our lives. Serious challenges have appeared in healthcare, economy, transportation, education, culture, and so on. Adaptation to the new situation has resulted in various innovative solutions to different issues, shaping the new normal. With hope of soon termination of the pandemic, human society needs various actions for easier and faster recovery.

We invite scholars with different ideas and solutions that apply tools and techniques of information, communication and computer science and technologies to reshape the future towards a new normal. Contributions for better understanding, prediction, prevention and mitigation of the consequences of any future high-impact events are welcomed as well. We expect to bring fresh insights in artificial intelligence, banking and finance, blockchain technologies, distance learning, e-commerce, healthcare, networks and communications, security, software systems,  transportation and delivery and all other relevant sectors.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topic areas:
  • Biomedical Computing, Technology, Engineering and Applications

  • Bioinformatics and bioengineering technologies

  • Standardization in life sciences

  • Genetic engineering

  • Robotics technologies

  • Rehabilitation and assistive technologies

  • ICT in Medicine and Healthcare

  • Intelligent systems

  • Machine learning technologies

  • Data science

..::ICT INNOVATIONS 2022::.. Paper Submission

ICT Innovations 2022 invites submissions of original and unpublished research papers on all conference topics. In addition, we welcome proposals for workshops which will be held in conjunction with the main conference. Submissions are to be made through the EasyChair Conference Management System. The submitted papers must be written in English and formatted according to the Springer LNCS/CCIS conference proceedings guidelines. Papers should be limited to 15 pages. All papers will be single-blind, peer reviewed by the Program Committee. If accepted, at least one of the authors must register for the Conference.

Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.

If you are interested in proposing a special session or a workshop, please send your proposal to: ict.innovations@finki.ukim.mk

All accepted full papers will be included in the  ICT Innovations 2022 Proceedings published by Springer in Communications in Computer and Information Science Series (CCIS). The conference proceeding is indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, SCOPUS, and included in Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI). Accepted workshop and short papers will be published in the ICT Innovations conference web proceedings.

Extended versions of the best selected papers will be published in WoS/SCI indexed international journal Computer Science and Information Systems (ComSIS).

..::ICT INNOVATIONS 2022::.. Conference Venue

The conference will be organized as a hybrid event. The venue is the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering

About the venue

Skopje is a city with a long and vivid history. The Stone Bridge in the center of the city was built on the Roman foundations. The old fortress was built during the rule of Emperor Justinian I. They have been recently restored and attract the tourists. The famous Old Bazaar, which impressed Evlya Çelebi is well preserved, and it is still very beautiful and busy. Hundreds of old churches and mosques, particularly Saint Panteleimon in Gorno Nerezi, Saint Nikita in Gornjane, as well as Saint Savour Church and Mustafa Pasha’s mosque near the Skopje Fortress are gorgeous. Since 2011, the 66 meter Millennium Cross on the top of the Vodno Hill can be reached by a ropeway. The view towards the city is simply astonishing. The cave Vrelo in the Matka Canyon is one of the deepest underwater caves in the world.
