Call for short papers/abstracts
Many people nowadays consider bioinformatic analysis as the bottleneck of the post-genomic era. Indeed, the yield and rate of data production have become so enormous that even the latest generation of bioinformatics tools and algorithms are not sufficiently performant to satisfy the current request. Therefore, there is a dear need for new, more efficient tools capable of coping with the massive amount of data, the so-called Big Data. Along with this new challenge another critical issue is the quality of data and reproducibility of research results. This workshop will convene experts and researchers in biology, bioinformatics and computer science to learn and discuss about existing and necessary new solutions in the life science research domain.
The workshop is currently accepting short research or discussion papers and abstracts for poster, demos and oral contributions on tools, methods and analysis pipelines for big data management, storage, analysis and reproducibility.
