The second edition of the International Workshop on Enhanced Living EnvironMENTs, ELEMENT-2015, taking place in Ohrid, fYR Macedeonia, is dedicated to the dissemination and evaluation of original contributions to architectures, techniques, protocols, components, orchestration, choreography and development related to the ELE area. Investigations, discussions and experiences from different stakeholders’ perspective on AAL technologies are welcome. The event is organized in the framework of the ICT COST Action IC1303 Algorithms, Architectures and Platforms for Enhanced Living Environments (AAPELE).
TOPICS
The focus of this workshop is on new architectures, methods, techniques, protocols, components and tools related to the Ambient Assisted Living Systems. These may include, but are not limited to the following topics:
- Sensing and Monitoring.
- ICT instrumentation and Middleware support for Smart Environments.
- Human-Computer Interaction at AAL environments.
- Environment Adaptation based on intelligence.
- Intelligent Healthcare and Homecare Environments.
- ELE Architectures and Platforms.
- Key applications domains.
Do not hesitate to contact the Lead TPC Chair <ngarcia {at} ubi {dot} pt> to clarify if a particular topic is in the scope of ELEMENT-2015.
INVITED SPEAKER
