International Workshop on Connected Health Technologies COHEAT-2015

COHEAT agenda

The first edition of the International Workshop on Connected Health Technologies- COHEAT-2015, is dedicated to the dissemination and evaluation of original contributions to new technology-enabled model of healthcare delivery. A key feature of Connected Health is the potential to bring the patient into the management of their own care, through timely provision of relevant, health- related information and feedback.
The event is organized in the framework of the European Network for the Joint Evaluation of Connected Health Technologies (ENJECT).
 

TOPICS

The focus of this workshop is on new organizational structures, architectures, methods, techniques, protocols, components and tools related to the Connected Health Technologies. These may include, but are not limited to the following topics:
  • Connected Health aggregation and communication infrastructures 
  • Wireless, Digital, Electronic, Mobile, and Tele-health
  • Health Management Practice and Organization 
  • Human-Centered interaction in Connected Health Environments.
  • Connected Health Architectures and Platforms.
  • Key applications domains.

ORGANIZATION

The workshop is organized in conjunction with ICT Innovations 2015 in Ohrid.
Special topic of the ICT Innovations 2015 conference is Emerging Technologies for Better Living.
This conference is indexed in Web of Science. 
 
Accepted full papers will be published in Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing. 
 
The authors of the best paper will be invited to publish an extended version in the ComSIS journal (impact factor: 0.549) 
 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Authors are invited to submit research and application papers following the SPRINGER Manuscripts style. We solicit the submission of academic workshop papers (14 pages) representing original, previously unpublished work. Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNICST series. The event featuresa Best Paper Award. Selected papers may be invited in a Special Issue, dedicated to the event (more info will soon be available, kindly check the ELEMENT website). Short
